This week Kelly’s sister Abby and her husband Steve are in from Boston, just in time for us to celebrate their son Simeon’s first birthday… To commemorate his first 365 days on the planet, we did a little impromptu mini portrait session!
He crawled around in the grass for a bit…
But that sort of thing can only last so long…
So we added his cousin Vienna to the mix. That didn’t work quite so well either, as neither of them have the requisite balance.
Then it was back to the house for some eats. Sim has yet to learn about utensils.
We did teach him to put his hands in the air. (Everybody say hey! Ho! Hey! Ho!)
Which he got a kick out of, and continued doing it all night.
I’ll end with one of V, hanging out with her great-grandma.

Michelle & Brian

A few weeks ago I got together with Michelle & Brian to shoot their engagement session. We had originally planned on shooting in Ocean City, NJ, but impending thunderstorms made Michelle and Brian decide to postpone the session and do it a little closer to home. So on July 25, we headed out to Longwood Gardens…
I must give the credit to Brian for suggesting the location for this shot.
Seems to have been some shadow puppetry going on…

Kim & Mike

Along with weddings, summer vacations and backyard BBQs, summer is engagement session season… it seems every time I walk outside I have camera in hand, off to another shoot — which is fine with me! On Tuesday I shot Kim & Mike’s engagement portraits. They brought their dogs along for part of the shoot and we had a great time. I’m psyched to shoot their wedding this February too!
