I often look at this image as why I do what I do. Back in 2004, my wife and I were walking around in Istanbul, Turkey, on marble stones hundreds of years old. I'd love to say that my keen eye saw the potential for this shot, but in reality it was Kelly who said "Ryan! Take a picture of my feet!" I did, and I love this shot. It's hung in our house pretty much ever since.
Those of you interested in such things will be interested to know this was shot with a Nikon F100, some terrible entry-level lens, and Fuji Neopan 1600 film.
