Over the Rhine at Sellersville Theater

Posted on June 6, 2008

Kelly and I don’t get out to see live music as much as we used to, every so often a band comes around that we simply feel compelled to see. That band is Over the Rhine, and it was at one of their shows a number of years ago that we first started dating.

Last night OTR came to the Sellersville Theater, a really cool restored old theater. I took along my camera, naturally, and snapped these from my seat.

The first act was a guy named Alfred James, and he was actually a lot of fun. He did one of the most beautiful versions I’ve ever heard of the most covered song in folk history.

Then OTR took the stage and knocked everyone’s socks off.
