3.29.08 - Niki & Alan
Posted on April 1, 2008
Wedding season is officially here, and so from here on out I will be posting much more regularly, since I’m shooting almost every weekend between now and November. (There are still a couple of dates open, though!)
Niki & Alan were married on Saturday at the Church of St. Luke and the Epiphany. Alan is from the UK, and it was amazing how many people in his family were able to make the trip ‘cross the pond for their wedding! After the ceremony the wedding party headed to Rittenhouse Square for some photos, then we made our way back to the party at the Kimmel Center in time to watch the sun go down. My friend Jenn Childress came along to shoot for part of the day as well, and so huge thanks go out to her as well!
There are quite a few images in the slideshow below… here are some of my favorites.

Ryan, your work is AMAZING!!!!!!!
If I wasn’t happily married for almost 12 years and was looking for a wedding photographer-I’d be knocking at your door!!!!
Dear Ryan-
We are absolutely thrilled with the photographs! We are so happy with how you have really captured the emotion of that day, and so many special moments that we will never live again. It did take us a little while to relax, and learn how to follow directions. And we can’t believe some of the things you made us do in front the Rittenhouse Square “audience”, in the name of art. It was all worth it. You made it fun, and easy, and the photographs are proof. We had a fantastic time working with you. It was one of the happiest days of our lives. We can relive it over and over again, through your beautiful work. Thank you.

We did have a lot of fun, didn’t we? You guys were great! I had a blast shooting your wedding!
Ryan, loved the photos. They will give us a fantastic memory of a very special day.
Ryan,
Your work took our breath away. Loved the slide show with music. You did such a wonderful job capturing the moments, we have to admit we didn’t even know you were there. I suppose that is the job of the really great photographers, you are one of them. Thank you for the beautiful memories of our beautiful daughter and her handsome husband.
