All the happenin’s
Posted on January 27, 2008
January tends to be a time when photographers catch up on albums, take stock of their business, work on marketing, finish up taxes, etc. etc. etc. ad nauseam. All this is well and good, but sometimes cabin fever sets in and we simply need to get outside, be with people, and shoot. Last week I had a few chances to do that when a few other photogs and I got together for an afternoon to work on putting meals together for people with terminal illness (as usual, thanks to Sofia Negron for putting it all together)… I don’t have any photos myself, but Jackie Bayne brought her camera and posted some rather embarrassing shots on her blog.
I also hung out with my friends Jenn & Pete who (whom?) you may remember from previous posts… we did a little location scouting in Philadelphia and had some fun shooting while we were at it.
Good times!

Countdown

The arrival of our li’l tax deduction highly anticipated first child is still a couple of months away, but the Estes household is kicking into high gear with preparations. So cool! On Saturday Kelly and I went with her mom and a couple of sibs to Longwood Gardens to stop and smell the roses, so to speak. Here’s my favorite photo of the day (currently hanging on our fridge, too).
[Note: Kelly would like everyone to know that this isn’t a face she normally makes…]
