Brides Against Breast Cancer

Nikki, whose wedding I shot in August, just sent me this link and I thought I’d pass it on to all of my other clients (and even those of you who aren’t!) because it’s just a good thing to do…
Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation has a program called “Brides Against Breast Cancer.” Basically, they sell new and used wedding gowns and use the proceeds to help women who are terminally ill with breast cancer. Don’t want your wedding dress to sit in a box in your closet for the next 50 years? (Chances are your daughter won’t want to wear it anyway, right?) 9.15.07 - Tricia & Jeff

What an incredible day Saturday was… clear blue skies, no humidity, a cool breeze… the absolute perfect day to shoot a wedding. I had an AMAZING time with Tricia & Jeff, who were married at St. Dominic in Philadelphia. It was difficult to narrow these down, so this is going to be a long post…
Thank you to the guest who popped their flash just as I took this picture… it worked out rather well.

One thing that made this day such a great one to shoot was that Tricia & Jeff rented out the Glencairn Museum for a few hours so we could take pictures there… We had almost two hours just to have fun and get creative in the beautiful light!

The city: Philadelphia
The venue: Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion, and the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue
The result: One amazing wedding.
And they had a killer old Rolls.
