Friends and family

Kelly and I are blessed with incredible families and equally incredible friends. I don’t often post pictures about this stuff but thought I just had to post some of these.

Last week our friends Cliff & Julie came over for dinner, along with their two kids, Naomi & Sam (you may remember Sam from this post, though he’s a bit cleaner in the shots below)…

And then yesterday I met my nephew Simeon for the first time when he dropped by with his parents. We didn’t have the advantage of lots and lots of studio lights, but I did grab a few shots as he chilled out on our couch…

Really diggin’ the grain on these…

Larisa & Peter - engagement session

Though Larisa & Peter live in California, they are getting married next year in Philadelphia and I have the privilege of shooting their wedding. They were in town this week to take care of some wedding planning stuff, so we took the opportunity to meet up and take some pictures.

9.22.07 - Jessie & Sean

On Saturday I headed west to Lancaster (instead of east to Philly, as is the usual drill) for Jessie & Sean’s wedding. 2007 has been blessed beyond belief with amazing weather for weddings, and this week was no exception. They were married at Lancaster Church of the Brethren which, as I was thrilled to see, gets awesome light in the sanctuary. Jessie loves black and white photography, so most of these pictures fit that bill. Enjoy…
