something tasty | twin valley coffee

You appreciate the finer things in life.  You’re a great dresser, your music and book collections are second to none, and you clearly have impeccable taste in photography (nod, wink).  You’re more likely to eat at a local bistro than, say, Planet Hollywood, you read The New Yorker (or at least leave copies lying around so people think that you do), and when you have a glass of wine, you swirl it, sniff it, and hold it up to the light before rattling off a litany of flavors and aromas you detect.

So how’s your coffee?  Mine’s pretty good, which is important, since it takes 2-3 cups to get me going in the morning.

This morning I drove out to Twin Valley Coffee to see this man, Lynn Burkholder, and pick up a few pounds of his locally-roasted beans.  It truly is some of the best (if not the best) coffee I’ve ever tasted.  Lynn’s got a variety of blends, including some fair trade and direct trade varieties.  You can order it right off the interwebs and have it arrive in your mailbox.  Get it now, thank me later.

For the record, TVC didn’t ask me to post this.  I just took a few photos while I was there and thought I’d mention to you, as I do from time to time, another one of my favorite things.  (If Oprah can do it, so can I, right?)
