Keely and Greg had initially set their wedding date as December 19, 2009… but for those of you who live in the northeast, you may remember that as the first blizzard this winter threw at us. I woke up that morning to the phone ringing… it was Keely, and she said they were considering postponing the wedding until the following day, would I be available then instead? Turns out I was! Not only that, but EVERY ONE of the people she had hired for her wedding — the venue, the florist, the DJ, everyone — was able to work on the 20th instead. So instead of slogging through a dangerous storm, they had beautiful sun on their wedding day!
A huge thanks to Ole at Photolé for answering the call and stepping up to 2nd shoot for me with only one day’s notice! As usual, I included a few of his pictures below as well.
We began the day in Schaefferstown where Greg grew up. Greg and Keely wanted to take pictures around town since it’s such a meaningful place to them.
Also, we came away with so many pictures I loved from this day… I tried to whittle it down but this post is still a bit long. *shrug*
The local watering hole… K&G are here from time to time, so of course we had to stop in for a few photos…
I love this photo for some reason… “Let’s go get hitched!”
Keely’s mom… love getting these moments.
Look at the light in this church!
After the ceremony, everyone went over to Riverdale Manor for the reception. I loved shooting here in the winter… the snow really gave the place a great feel!
It was Keely’s father’s birthday.
And yes, if/when my own daughter gets married, I’ll probably be doing the same thing.
Keely and Greg, I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate you both… thank you for an amazing day!

Ryan, ur one of my fav photographers to watch. It was an honor to shoot with the best. The images came out awesome but the way you work is even better.
These pictures are amazing – I love the way you shot this winter wedding! And you’re right, the light in that church was amazing….love the beams of light shining through:)
